Plumbing Clogs

As a landlord, we care deeply about the well-being of our tenants and want to ensure that they have a safe and comfortable living environment. One aspect of maintaining a healthy home is taking proper care of the plumbing system. That's why we wanted to take a moment to remind our tenants of the importance of proper disposal of objects and not flushing or pouring them down the drains.

We appreciate our tenants and want them to be safe and happy in their homes. That's why we kindly ask that you take care to properly dispose of non-flushable items and be mindful of what you pour down the sink. In the bathroom, items like dental floss, cotton swabs, and feminine hygiene products should be thrown in the trash instead of flushed down the toilet. Similarly, in the kitchen, cooking oil, grease, and food scraps should not be poured down the sink. Instead, pour cooking oil and grease into a container and throw it in the trash once it solidifies, and throw food scraps in the trash or compost them.

Taking these simple steps can go a long way in maintaining a healthy plumbing system and avoiding costly repairs. We thank you for your cooperation and for being a responsible tenant. If you do experience any plumbing issues, please don't hesitate to let us know so that we can address the problem promptly and keep your home in good condition.

We understand that it may be tempting to flush wipes or pour cooking oil down the drain, but doing so can have serious consequences for your plumbing system. These items can cause blockages and clogs that can lead to backups and overflows. In the event that a plumber needs to be called to unclog the pipes and finds that the cause of the blockage was due to items that should not have been flushed or poured down the drain, you may be responsible for covering the cost of the service.
